With 60 years combined real estate, corporate and finance experience, founders Asif Rangoonwala and Adnan Shaikh established South Street to provide clients with a platform to co-invest into sectors underpinned by growth, long term demographic trends, stable underlying cashflows and asset management upside.

Asif Rangoonwala Founder

Asif Rangoonwala is a successful business entrepreneur with interests spanning real estate, food and sport sectors. He is passionate about real estate with over 40 years of global real estate and investment industry experience and expertise.

He is the founder of UK-based Eurobuns Limited, a hugely successful venture in the industrial baking sector, for which he received the Queens Award. The company was sold in May 2008 to Lantmannen Unibake.

Asif is heavily involved in philanthropic activities through the Rangoonwala Foundation established by his late father. As Chairman of the Rangoonwala Foundation, he manages the charity which provides vocational training, medical centres, libraries and other educational and life-enhancing facilities for marginalised communities worldwide. He is also a fellow of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Trustee of the Whitefield Development Trust, Director of Indus Entrepreneurs UK and Chairman of the World Memon Foundation. Asif is also the Chairman and CEO of Powerboat P1, the marine industry equivalent to Formula 1 Grand Prix Racing.

Adnan Shaikh Co-Founder

Adnan Shaikh is the Co-Founder of South Street. Since inception, Adnan has been responsible for the firm’s investment and development activities, which have resulted in the acquisition and management of over £600 million of real estate investments. Adnan leads all strategic business development and global investor relations. Adnan has over 20 years global real estate experience.  Adnan is a qualified real estate finance Solicitor and began his career at one of the top five global law firms, Dentons.

David Miller Financial Director

David Miller is a Chartered Accountant with over 27 years of finance experience. He has spent the past 17 years working in the property sector and in particular property development, having worked for Multiplex, Catherdral Group, Be Living and Joseph Homes. Most recently he was Head of Finance at Criterion Capital which managed a property portfolio of £3.5b. David is responsible for presenting and reporting accurate, timely information to shareholders, investors and key members of the management team. He also plays an important role in implementing best practice across the company and assisting with strategic development.
